| What wall color works best in playroom? I bought the IKEA Trofast storage units with red, lime green, sky blue, and yellow cubbies. The problem is, I want a playroom for my girls that has hints of femininity but not completely girlie. Lots of people have been saying white, but that's too plain for me and I have NO vision or interior ideas whatsoever so white would be fine if I had a vision of how to accentuate the room with art pieces, etc. There is some artwork from Pottery Barn that I like, but that is all I have to work with. I was thinking buggy theme like, ladybugs and butterflies? My mom is sewing a window seat pillow that has 4 diff. colors of green with shades of pink in it that has bugs on it. I have NO idea what to paint the walls. It is a small room with one large window and a small closet, so no dark color suggestions please. Thank you! |
| IKEA has a lot of great stuff for home and office furnishing. I just wish they had a branch here in the Philippines. The nearest branch to our country is in Singapore so on my next trip there, I'm definitely including IKEA in my itinerary. I'm eyeing those storage products but I have to check where I can put them to make sure that I will buy the correct size. Looking forward to it. |
| My kids love making arts and crafts. They usually display these in their room but I want to keep the other arts and crafts because I want them to see their work preserved when they grow up. Well I prefer plastic artwork storage. They seem durable as well. It is also attractive because it is colorful and the design is really for kids. When you want to purchase on there are more designs available on the internet. |
| With all the colors that you already have in your color scheme, I would not recommend adding a new color to the room, or it may begin to look a little clownish or circus like. However, since you do not like white, i would suggest going with either a very pale shade of one of the colors you already have, such as the green or yellow, or my first choice would be to paint the walls cream and add a decorative border that matches the curtains. |
| Hi there, I would love to have some good tips here with what could be the best colors that I can put in to my little girl's room. We are renovating the house and so I would love to make the most of her childhood by bringing in the best to her very own space, which is her room. It would be great if some good links be shared in here as well to where I can check on good ideas and tips. |
| Colors are also one of the factors that can change the mood of a child that is why i is really important for us to know what color works best in a playroom. I have a little sister and she would love to see and play different colors of dolls. It is important that we enlighten the minds of our children at a very young age so that the learning and development process will be a lot easier. |
