| Does it matter what type of easel you purchase? I am an art history student who is taking a few painting classes at my university. Today I went to Aaron Brothers and purchased one of those "Big Top Artist" easels, and I realized it was for children, not students. Does it matter though? It's a floor standing easel made out of pine wood. I bought it cheap for $39.99. Yes, I'm planning to work at home as well. |

| I think it is really important to consider the quality of a very good art easel most especially if the kids will be the one to use it, so that they will have enough comfort to make forms of art by themselves. It should be made of a good material so it could stand well while they draw. It should have complete materials like eraser, chalkboard, and the like. |

| I think the type of easel can affect but I guess that it would still depend on the skill of the person working. Art easels can be use most especially by beginners like our kids that are still on the stage of developing their talents. The materials that we use really matters but we should also learn on how to use it properly in order for us to have a better work. |
